You Are President In Your Own Right

I was sitting at home watching the Presidential race and something struck me. For the last umpteenth years, all of the American people have depended on a President to determine their future. Why do we do this? Why do we focus on pointing the finger when things don’t go according to the President’s plan? One thing I have determined is that no matter what president we have, he is only an individual doing his job with what he has to work with. The purpose of this blog is to let people know that when it comes to the future, your future, at the end of the day, the only person who can determine how your future turns out is YOU!!! There is no individual on this planet that can improve their well being and their lives by waiting to see what the next President is going to do. I want to encourage everyone to stop concentrating on World leadership and focus on self leadership. Whether you know it or not, you are a President in your own right. Why you asked? Because us as Americans work, go to school, take care of children, make ultimate decisions to create a good life for either yourself or your family. We have the power to determine how our own future is going to be. I cannot be accountable for someone else’s wrong doing in this life, so I must concentrate on my family and me. If I am unemployed what do I do? Do I call the White House and/or fax them my resume, hoping that someone will call and give me direction on finding work? No! What about if there is any problem that I am having financially, would the President then give me a small loan from the deficit to help out with my situation? I think not!!! In everyday life it is solely up to me to make sure I have the skills, job, and mindset to do what I need to do to make sure my family has what it needs now and in the future. So understand, the only one person who can help your future is you. Most of the time, we sit around and vote for who we think would be the best person to get us out of this mess. I don’t remember any time in my short life has there been any positives in government spending. Sad part about it is, how could you be the quote on quote, “Richest Country,” but always seem to be in debt. So as we continue to have new elections, every election will be like a nationwide blame game. “I can do better than the last President,” is the national promise we get before every election. So I ask, Which President have we had in the past that was better than the last one? I know everyone has their favorites but, in reality we have been going through this same mess for years. This is why I honestly feel no need for a President. I have been working, making decisions, trying to pave the way for a better future for my family.
